Empowering the Next Generation of Muslim Leaders
We make sure tuition is never the reason a child can't attend Faith Islamic Academy — connecting generous Ohio taxpayers with the students who need help most.
A high-quality, faith-based education — within reach for every family
The Faith Islamic Academy Scholarship Foundation exists for one purpose: making sure tuition is never the reason a low-income family can't send their child to Faith Islamic Academy. As a certified Ohio Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) and a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every scholarship we award goes directly to a currently enrolled FIA student who qualifies based on financial need.
Our Mission
Through Ohio's SGO program and the generosity of our donors, we provide scholarships that empower Faith Islamic Academy students to thrive academically, spiritually, and personally.
Our Vision
A future where every Muslim family in our community has access to a high-quality K–8 education that nurtures academic excellence, Islamic values, leadership, and service to society.
Real support, real results
Removing the barrier between hardship and opportunity
Many Muslim families want an educational environment that combines academic excellence with strong moral character and Islamic values — but tuition can place that opportunity out of reach. For years, FIA relied primarily on Ohio's EdChoice voucher program, which doesn't always cover the full cost of tuition. The Foundation was established in 2023 to close that remaining gap through Ohio's SGO tax credit program — turning donor tax dollars into direct tuition support, at no net cost to the donor.
More than tuition — a foundation for life
Academic Excellence
Access to dedicated teachers, small class sizes, and a rigorous curriculum that prepares students for higher education and beyond.
Character & Identity
A supportive, faith-driven environment that reinforces core Islamic values, strong moral character, and a commitment to community service.
Peace of Mind for Families
Relieving financial stress on parents so they can focus on supporting their children's growth and development at home.
A fair, need-based process
Families apply through Faith Islamic Academy's main office.
Applications are reviewed with priority given to demonstrated financial need.
As a 501(c)(3), awards are based on need across all eligible FIA families — never earmarked for a specific student.
Awards are reviewed ahead of each school year to support families for the year to come.
Transparency & Accountability
Be a Part of Their Story
The students we support today are the doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders of tomorrow. Because of the Ohio SGO program, you can directly fund these life-changing scholarships — often at zero net cost to you.
